Dom as soon as you approach the parents, with your handsome smile your foresight decides to fail you. If you would have succeeded in your role, you would have noticed right away that these babies were very strange, but… you didn’t.

Your approach immediately frightens both of the children, and unfortunately for you AND everyone around you, the two sweet little blue-eyed blonde boys just so happen to be the children of sirens.

In a split second their little frightened watery eyes would burst into tears, their sharp doubled screaming would have the force to cause anyone to double over in pain. And boy, does it hurt.

The scream itself isn’t enough to break the glass from the nearby store windows, thankfully they aren’t that strong yet. However, the screams do effect *MOST* of the people around you.

Dom, you were right in the middle of it. The sharp screams of the twins cause your eardrums to FEEL as if they were going to burst. Covering them as quick as you could you managed to deafen the blast before any serious damage is caused, but you will lose -1 hp from the screams that had made it. Your head has been rattled pretty good from those sweet blue-eyed babies, causing your next talent check to be unproficient.

Silky, (Rolled a success on saving roll.) you seemed to notice the children right away and managed to take cover from the screams, you are safe.

Rune, (Rolled a fail on saving roll.) the sharp screams from the two sweet babies hit you like a ton of bricks. Your ears throb as you attempt to cover them and protect yourself. However, the damage was too late. Your head throbs from the crying, and you lose -1 hp.

Salem, (Rolled a critical fail on saving roll.) it just isn’t your day is it? WHAT WAS IS THAT SOUND?! Instead of covering your ears like everyone else you take a few extra seconds to look around. Just this small amount of time was enough to cause your head and ears to throb. Releasing you were in a LARGE amount of pain you do as the others and cover your ears. Lose -1 hp, and your head is ringing. Your next roll is unproficent, no matter the talent.

Now both parents are busy holding and bouncing their kids, trying to stop the screeching. They hadn’t grabbed the ad quite yet, but all isn’t lost. They don’t look angry, more apologetic that their little ones don’t have control over their voices yet. However, your team has been shaken up yet again. Reeling from the accidental attack.

You dodged that attack like a boss. Saving your ear from the potential damage that everyone else had gotten. Those babies are still trying to calm down, and you notice rather quickly that they don’t seem to be stopping. Maybe you should try and help them? Use whatever you want to try and do your best here. Or you can wait it out and see if Mom and Dad can get them to stop.

Silky watched in horror as her friends, were all hit by the sounds wave caused by the two sweet children. She was able to catch those big blue eyes welling up, knowing that something bad was about to happen. On instinct, the second voice deep inside of her would growl at her to quickly cover her ears.

Saved her inner demon. However, it seemed the others in her party were not as lucky. It seemed to affect the men the worse, but Rune? Oh her poor sweet canine companion. Her poor sensitive ears were probably throbbing with the screaming. Just the idea of her being in pain bothered her more then anyone else's well being. (Sorry boys, Chicks before dicks.)

Panic rushed through her, she was unsure what to do. Gulping down a lump in her throat, she would approch the twins being held by the parents. Keeping her hands on her ears, Silky would stick out her tongue and cross her eyes. Doing her best to make a silly face at the two. If she could make them laugh, this waves of sound would stop. Please work!

Well my dear as you approach the children and make your stupid face at them, one of them stops crying and starts giggling. Which causes the other one to stop and start giggling. All seems to be fixed, well... you thought.

Children are strange creatures, more so the children of mythical beings. As the children start laughing, one of them seems to laugh a little too hard, confusing one emotion with another and begins to cry again. A second wave hits you and your party,

Silky, take -1 damage. You fool, you failed. And you're rattled, your next roll must be done un proficiently.

Rune, take -1 damage. You fool, you failed your saving roll.

Salem, Take no damage. And you are no longer Rattled. You've been able to shake the ringing from your ears.

Dom, take -1 damage. You fool, you botched it. You are currently rattled, your ears are ringing and you can't think straight. Your next check must be done unproficiently

You've noticed right away Silky hasn't helped the situation at all. Instead of letting the parents handle their screaming kids she attempted her best to try and help them. Only to fail miserably. Her heart was in the right place, but it's becoming clearer, Silky has never been around a child before in her life. Perhaps Aunty Rune can give them a hand? If not you can forsake your turn to keep your ears covered, but the children WILL keep crying into the next person's turn.
