The boy had stopped walking with his group, to listen to Dom. Scoffing at the cop, trying to still look tough in front of his friends. However (because of your crit) you can tell the message has sunk in, clearly, the mall isn't the place to act like a jackass. The teens are quickly on their way out of the mall, not wanting to risk getting arrested.

You've watched Rune seduce a married man to take a paper, which shouldn't come as a surprise since you're used to seeing this kinda thing anyway. (Being her best friend and all.) You know that tactic can work since you've watched Rune do it.

Salem, on the other hand, got knocked on his rear by some hulking child. He is currently still attempting to regain his composer after being shoved so hard it took the wind out of his lungs.

This new man, a cop, has threatened the fear straight into those teenagers. A job well done! They won't be causing any more problems. The teenagers aren't completely out of sight yet, but you can tell they are hurrying.


Silky, there is an older couple still making their way past you, a man and a woman. The older man seems done with this entire shopping trip, his grumpy wrinkled face glaring at anyone who dares to glance at him. Meanwhile his wife, however, seems cheerful. She's obviously enjoying being out and about.

Silky would be a bit awestruck by everything that was going on. Panic filled her as Salem had been pushed down with such an aggressive force. Then the other man stepped in and spooked them away with very professional threats.

It was true the old couple needed the ads, but Silky couldn't forgive the kids. There was no way she was going to let them go, clearing her throat she would walk carefully by Dom yelling out to the teenagers before they were too far ahead. Inside of her, she felt her own demonic energy, if anytime was the time to use it, it would be now. If she could get at least one of them (Aiming at the boy) to be under her spell she wouldn't only just hand him an ad, she would use her powers to manipulate him to doing work. Carefully she would inhale a soft breath, "Hey! Wait a moment! You come back here and help Salem pick up his papers!"

If the spell worked, her eyes would become completely black, her voice would call out gently to him as she cast it. As soon as he was under her spell, her eyes would return to normal.

By now the old couple continues on by without anyone pressuring them with the ads.

Rune, if you feel like trying to give these two old people an ad then go ahead! The older man looks very grumpy, he's obviously not having a good time being dragged around the mall by his extremely cheerful wife. As stated, she's all smiled and rosy-cheeked. The two of them are quite cute together.

If you'd rather not bother them, let them walk by and wait for the next group. This time around it's a pair of young men. They're holding hands and laughing. Something tells you, your seduction tactic might not work here. You can certainly try it, however.

Please remember Salem is still recovering from being hit, and his papers are still all over the place. It might take him a while to pick them all up by himself.

Rune happily batted her eyelashes at the married man. It was her job after all and most of the time, she kept herself in check, especially if there were children involved in a family. However, a bit of harmless flirting, seductive gazes and that low and lustful tone in her voice was alright, wasn’t it? Looking wasn’t cheating after all.

Though she smiled as the man was dragged away by the woman who scolded him for his attention to the young barghest. It was rather cute to her, if she did say so herself. However, as she sent a wave in the direction of the man getting scolded, a ruckus sounded from behind her. Teenage males laughing followed by the sound of Salem’s voice. Her head turned quickly toward the sound just in time to see one of them break free of the pack and push her human.

A growl rose in her throat as Salem crashed to the ground, fliers spreading all over the ground and quickly scattering over the floor. Well… If they hadn’t gotten attention before, they likely did now from most of the people around them, though whether it was a ‘stay away from them’ or a ‘what’s going on over there’, she didn’t care.

It was a damned good thing that the other man, whom she now understood why he looked familiar as he had identified himself as a cop, took care of them. Rune likely would have been the one going to jail if he hadn’t taken control of the situation so thoroughly. That teenager would have gotten the brunt of her teeth and her fire if she’d been able to do so. For now, she just committed his face to memory to curse him the next time she laid eyes on him.

As it stood, the dark haired woman approached her human. He’d taken that hit pretty hard in the chest and still seemed a little bit breathless over it. She sent one more glare the way of the rest of the group of teenagers, sharp and even slightly terrifying as her crimson eyes leveled at them. She’d have to remember them… All of them…

And then sweet Silky… She tried to order them to come help Salem, but the poor dear just didn’t quite get the hang of it yet. Rune might have to spend some more time with her in being intimidating or even seductive enough to get her way with men, especially boys.

Rune knelt down beside the human that she’d more or less adopted and smiled at him sheepishly. “You really do attract danger wherever you go, don’t you, Salem?” She teased him before offering her hands to help him up. “Come on, my dear Salem. Up up.” Rune smiled at him adoringly as she helped him off the floor and then began to pick up the papers scattered about.

Rune pointed at the other males that were coming their way hand in hand before handing him a few papers. “I think they might be a little better to try to approach for you, hmm? Be a little more careful with your words and smile a bit more when offering them a flier. You’re cute enough to attract their attention, especially when you dazzle with that smile of yours~.” She brushed her shoulder against him and looked up at him with a flirty smile before going to finish picking up the fliers that were spread all over the ground.

You're a sweetheart! It's a good thing indeed you didn't act on your feelings this time around, or you would have ended up in jail this time around. However, instead, you took the passive route this time, and decided to not only help Salem up but also gave him a word of encouragement! Let's hope it works out!

Rune has used her turn to assist in Salem regaining his composer! With her help, Salem can now use his turn to attempt to give away another ad.

It's a good thing Dom was here, or it might have turned out worse. His perfect power flex seemed to quickly spook the kids away and stopped them from giving you anymore of a possible beating.

Silky tried to make the boy come back and help you. At first, it seemed she was going to finally show you some of her own magic, but it turns out she was simply trying to use her words instead. As you expected her soft-spoken demeanor was ignored.

Rune helps you pick up some of your ads, and stands you up. Your chest hurts a little, an overall sting from the whole violent situation. Something tells you it's a good thing Dom was here this time, the look in Rune's ruby eyes hints at a hidden fircness.

Walking toward your group are two giggling young men holding hands. They're both rather cheerful, and almost have a welcoming aura floating around them. Use your best charm, and try and give these two an ad! Roll whatever you want to here, it's your choice.

"Hrk!" Salem grunted as the walking protein shoved him backwards fiercely to the point of Salem tripping over his own legs and hitting the ground flat on his butt. The papers in his hands flew out of his grip and fluttered all over the area, making a mess everywhere across the mall. The fall hurt a little bit, but that was really the extent of his injuries before Dom, who was apparently an off-duty police officer, stepped in to assist the writer. Salem's pride, though, was in pieces. Although he appreciated the help from Silky, Rune, and Dom, him not standing up to the guy on his own was a cause for embarrassment for him. Then again, what was he gonna do? The living steroid might have been three sizes bigger than him, but even if Salem could fight back, the other guy was still a kid. That wouldn't fly with the law. Salem grumbled quietly under his breath as he reached out to collect the papers. "Ahem, uh… thanks." Salem said to Dom, seemingly refusing to make eye contact with him out of shame as he dusted himself off.

As Silky tried to get the hooligans to help Salem gather the fliers and Rune appeared to be getting ready to pounce on them and tear them to shreds, Salem thought it would be best to avoid having things escalate any further. Dom had already driven away the threat, after all, no reason to bring them back or go after them. "Er… Don't worry about it, I'm fine. I've had tougher scraps that this." Salem reassured. In truth, he hadn't. Back in the human world he was a bit of a recluse so there wasn't much opportunity for him to get in a fight with someone. But his vivid nightmares did steel him in ways the real world couldn't possibly. At least, he hoped it couldn't.

Rune made a humorous remark about him attracting danger to himself to which he responded "What can I say? I like to live dangerously." with a wry smile as he started to pick the papers up off the ground. By the time he was done and he smacked them down into a neat pile, Rune offered him a hand to stand back up, which he gratefully accepted.

As the couple l slowly walked towards their location, Rune pointed them out as potential targets for their ad-distributing exploits next. Of course, whoever the potential ad-takers were, anything beats angsty teenagers, really. Especially ones that are fed like a truck. Rune attempted to reassure him by calling him cute and having a dazzling smile, followed by a flirtatious brush of her shoulder against his. This caused a sheepish, embarrassed smirk to tug at his cheek. Rune sure had a way with words. And her body. But that's besides the point. Probably.

Nevermind that… Ads, right. Gotta get rid of these ads. Just focus on the job. He focused, centering his breathing to get the earlier embarrassment of being pushed into the ground out of his mind, and put on a smile as Rune instructed. He adjusted his tie, combed his hair nearly to the side, and approached the couple. "Good afternoon, sirs. Sorry to bother you, but my friends and I are trying to help spread awareness of Baby's Booties. They just opened recently, would you be interested in having a look?" He thought a little about Rune's instructions. And methods. Maybe a little bit of said tactics had merit… people respond well to hearing compliments after all. "Why, I'm sure they have several things in stock that would look just gorgeous on you." He said, tilting his head to the side just a few degrees as he flashed them his friendliest smile.

It's your turn! This time it's a young woman and her young daughter! The two seem happy to be having a quiet day at the mall! Do whatever you'd like to here! Give'em the 'ol razzle dazzle!


I'll go ahead and show you guys the goal, it may not seem like a lot, but I'm not going to have all four of you handing out a stack of paper. That would take fivevers!

Dom eyed Silky wordlessly as she attempted to square up on the kids. Their retreat went undisturbed, although now he was fairly certain she wasn’t a human. Her aura was already a bit…disquieting, but seeing her ready to risk it all out of pure retribution served to put things into perspective. There was a time and a place, and it seemed the teens were lucky that today didn’t fit the bill on either of those.

On the other hand, Rune was a bit easier to read, although he couldn’t place a nature to her yet. Something about her crimson eyes mixed with the tense, wrathful glare she sent Salem’s assailants screamed assassin. The phrase ‘hell hath no fury-’ came to mind.

For Salem, he didn’t get a sense of anything yet. Clumsiness maybe. Which is why he was a bit surprised when the man brushed himself off and tried again with the young couple, an endeavor that thankfully ended in success this time.

Inspired by the sight, Dom returned to surveying the crowd. A mother and her small daughter meandered towards their group, unsuspecting of the rapport currently taking place on behalf of Baby's Booties. He cleared his throat and put on a professional air, summoning a rare instance of charisma to address the pair.

"Excuse me ma'am. If you could spare a second or two, I'd like to share a word with you about Baby's Booties: the most innovative Zip-Line, Bubble-tea cafe, and discount shoe store of our present decade."

He carried on like this for several more minutes before suddenly appearing to realize that the world still revolved around them. Presenting the flyer to her next, he'd give her a fond, yet modest nod as if preparing to wrap up. But this wasn't the case. "Now, as a mother, I'm sure you're also wondering what's in it for little Susie. The best part is, we begin internships at the elementary school level. Your daughter could learn all about the wonderful world of business while simultaneously ensuring that you'd never go through life uninformed about our evolving business model-"
