    Pantheon or Origin: Depends on who you ask.

    Alignment: Unaligned.

    Life Span: 1-100 years

    Description/Forms: Humans are pretty basic, usually born with two, legs two arms, and so on.

    Abilities, Magic, extra skill:

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Elemental magic, Fire, Water, Wind, earth, and so on. Some humans possess these abilities, while others don't. Use this creatively, but at your staff member's discretion. (This can be taken as a character COMBAT talent. Choose one element.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Focus of the third eye; Magic that is related to the mind. Future sight, aura senses, all of these relate to this ability. Use this creatively, but at your staff member's discretion. (The racial is special, and can not be taken as a character talent.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Strong mind, Proficiently resistant to any talents aimed at the character's mind. (This can be taken as a character talent.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Beast mastery, Proficient at talents related to taming, soothing, intimidating, and so on when aimed at beasts. (This can be taken as a character talent.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Gut feeling, This is a perception check. This can be used in place of ANY perception check, or to reroll a failed perception check of any kind. (This racial skill cannot be taken as a character talent)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Adrenaline rush, your body fills with a sudden burst of Adrenaline allowing you to be able to use your strength in ways that normally wouldn't be possible. Use this racial skill as a strength check of any kind, or as a reroll for a failed strength check. (This is a special skill and cannot be taken as a character talent.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Fight or flight, if an attack hits your character and would kill them (Drain their life to 0) you may use this skill. Instead of death, your character is reduced to 1 hp, and you have the choice to either run or stay and fight. This skill DOES NOT work if you are already down to 1hp. (This is a special racial ability, and can not be taken as a character talent.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Only Human, Gives a soothing sort of feel against rabid or threatening creatures. Use this racial to try and calm a target. (May fail.) (This racial can be taken as a character talent, for ONLY human characters.)

    Lore: The angels would tell you it was their Lord who first made the humans, while scientists would tell you they crawled from the swamps as some fish-frog creature. What is known is that they live strong and proud among the various mythical beings that inhabit this world. They often have powers of their own, some being magic touched. Humans work as equals next to any other race in this world; some of them even holding high titles.

    Race Name: Elf, Elves, Elven.

    Pantheon or Origin: Germanic Mythology

    Alignment: Unaligned

    Life Span: 750 Years

    Description/Forms: Humanoid creatures with pointed ears, many times they are taller than a human and usually more elegant.

    Lore:

    An Elf (plural: Elves) is a type of human-shaped supernatural being in Germanic mythology and folklore. In medieval Germanic-speaking cultures, Elves generally seem to have been thought of as beings with magical powers and unearthly beauty, ambivalent towards everyday people and capable of either helping or hindering them. However, the details of these beliefs have varied considerably over time and space, and have flourished in both pre-Christian and Christian cultures.

    The word "Elf" is found throughout the Germanic languages and seems original to have meant 'white being'. Reconstructing the early concept of an Elf depends largely on texts, written by Christians, in Old and Middle English, medieval German, and Old Norse. These associate Elves variously with the gods of Norse mythology, with causing illness, with magic, and with beauty and seduction.

    SUB CLASSES OF ELVES:

    Highborne Elf:

    These Elves are known to be highly intelligent, often being masterminds in alchemy and science. Highbornes are known to be a little stuck up when dealing with other races, as most see themselves as royal blood compared to their sub-race cousins. They are known for their handsome/beautiful features and elegant lifestyle.

    Abilities, Magic, extra skill:

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Light Magic - Burn them... With the power of the sun!

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Advanced Alchemy - Naturally they are good at potion brewing and can correct failure quickly (Re-roll a failure) or even substitute an ingredient with another. (This is a special racial skill and can not be taken as a character talent.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Healing Magic - These elves are naturally imbued with light magic, healing included and are very good at casting a quick healing spell to cure a wound or cure a poison. Re-roll a failed cure or used a cure in battle depending on your level. (This can be taken as a character Combat/Magic talent.)

    Dark Elf:

    Often looked down on by many races due to the stereotype of them being 'evil', Dark Elves tend to feel comfortable walking in the shadier parts of the city. These dark skin and light haired elves stride easily through the pitch black and can call upon the night to help aid them.

    Abilities, Magic, extra skill:

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Enhanced Stealth - Re-roll a failed stealth check or gain the extra skill stealth as your race skill. (This is a racial special and cannot be taken as a character talent.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Shadow Magic - Those who know shadow magic can use it manipulate the darkness to move about through the shadows cast. This skill can also blot out light sources in rooms. (This is a special racial, and cannot be taken as a character talent.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Dark Vision - Because of their ability to use shadows, the Dark Elf has eyes that can see in the darkest of rooms almost as if it were dimly lit. (This can be taken as a character talent.) Ā

    Wood Elf:

    Wood Elves are well known to be your Rangers and Wardens of the forests and surrounding nature. They are comfortable surrounded by it and find themselves kindred to the beasts that live within. They are also very knowledgeable about the various plants growing in their homelands, naturally being able to tell what a plant is used for. Wood Elves are known to have keen eyes and quiet movements, which make them amazing as sneaking around through the brush.

    Abilities, Magic, extra skill:

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Leader of the pack - Any failed rolls related to animals can be re-rolled as well as your companion's. (This is a racial special, and cannot be taken as a character talent.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Advanced Ranged Weapon - Wood Elves have been hunting in the forests for hundreds of years. This has made them naturally great at ranged weapons and can re-roll a failed roll with them or use Ranged weapons proficiently. (This is a racial special, and cannot be taken as a character talent.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Flora Knowledge - Wood Elves can determine what a plant is and it's alchemical uses as well as they have knowledge where to find them. (This skill can be taken as a character talent.)

    Race Name: Angels

    Race Classification: Celestial beings

    Pantheon or Origin: Various Religions, created to fight evil

    Life Span: Unknown

    Alignment: Neutral to Lawful Good

    Description/Forms: Human looking creatures with one to three (Rank dependent) sets of white/gold/blue feathered wings.

    They can also make their wings merge into their bodies to make themselves look completely human.

    Abilities, Magic, extra skill:

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Healing Magic - Angels are good at healing things. Meaning they can re-roll a failed check on healing magic, or curing poison. This also means they can have a free healing spell for their Race skill. (Healing magic can be taken as a character talent, but isn't the same as this racial ability.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Warriors of Light - Cast out the darkness with your blinding light. Use it to blind foes like a flash grenade, or perhaps use it as an attack. Get creative, and always make sure to check with your Staff members. (This is a special racial ability, and cannot be taken as a character talent.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Flight - Angels have wings making them able to fly. Yay! (This can be taken as a character talent.)

    Lore:

    An angel is generally a supernatural being found in various religions and mythologies. In Abrahamic religions, angels are often depicted as benevolent celestial beings who act as intermediaries between God or Heaven and humanity. Other roles of angels include protecting and guiding human beings and carrying out God's tasks. Within Abrahamic religions, angels are often organized into hierarchies, although such rankings may vary between sects in each religion. Such angels are given specific names or titles, such as Gabriel or Michael. The term "angel" has also been expanded to various notions of spirits or figures found in other religious traditions.

    SUB CLASSES:

    Seraphim: - Angelic being, regarded in traditional Christian angelology as belonging to the highest order of the ninefold celestial hierarchy, associated with light, ardor, and purity. The text describes the "Seraphim" as winged divine beings with a fiery passion for doing God's good work. In our world the Seraphim are known to be the most devoted warriors of light, seeking out the unholy and smiting them. Often they watch demons closely and jump at the opportunity to bring justice down on the filthy. The Seraphim are angels with six wings, three pairs.

    Abilities, Magic, extra skill:

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Weapons Master - Born to fight evil, the Seraphim will pick up any weapon and be able to use it with proficiency. Roll proficient with any weapon, or re-roll a fail. (This is a special racial skill and cannot be taken as a character talent.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Flight, With three pairs of wings, I hope you'd be able to fly. (This can be taken as a character talent.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Sense Evil - Like the nose on a bloodhound, Seraphim can naturally seek out those who reek of sin. Re-roll failed sense checks or roll to sense evil. (This is can be taken as a character talent ONLY if the character is a Seraphim.)

    Suggested Character Talents: flight, intimidation, improvised weapondry, hand to hand combat, sense evil,

    Virtues: These four-winged angels (2 pairs) were made for the sole purpose of countering the Seven Deadly Sins. Each one has the power to cleanse the opposing sin from those around them. In total there are seven of these angels, and only seven of them are in the world at a time. (Meaning they are a limited amount of players.)

Each turn this is active you must roll to see if you continue to use your effect. (This can be taken as a character talent ONLY if the character is a virtue.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Angelic mind - You may roll proficiently to resist against ANY charisma check that is put against your character OR re-roll a failed resistance check. (This is a racial special, and cannot be used as a character talent.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Angelic Persuasion - It is easier to persuade those around you to listen to your reason. Proficient in persuasion, or re-roll a persuasion check. (This is a special racial skill and cannot be taken as a character talent.)

    Suggested Character Talents: Begone sin, flight, persuasion.

    Arch Angels: - These Angels are a little more relaxed, often leaning more toward neutral rather then always good. Thanks to the new government of heaven, archangels need not worry about committing smaller sins like the occasional drink, or fling. For them to fall it takes the greater sins. Archangels have a single pair of wings and can have neutral alignment which lets them have a free mind.

    Abilities, Magic, extra skill:

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Bless - Cast a single healing spell based on your level. Or re-roll a failed healing spell. (Racial special, cannot be taken as a character talent.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Technicality - Re-roll any failed checks related to, or against charisma talents. (Racial special, cannot be taken as a character talent.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Flight - Allows flight (Can be taken as a character talent.)

    Fallen Angel:

    Fallen angels are angels who were expelled from heaven. The literal term "fallen angel" appears neither in the Bible nor in other Abrahamic scriptures but is used of angels who were cast out of heaven or angels who sinned. Such angels often tempt humans to sin. These angels wear black feathered wings of different numbers indicating impurity.

    These angels' alignment has changed to being chaotic evil to neutral. No longer warriors of light and not always welcomed among demons, this lot is still just as powerful as either side without being bound to either side. Some Fallen Angels even look for redemption, the story is yours to write. The main idea is that you were once pure until something or someone tempted you to fall from Heaven during some point in your life and you either remained walking on earth, or you fell to hell.

    Abilities, Magic, extra skill:

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Fool Me Once - You are proficient in rolling resistance to persuasion rolls against your characters, and you may re-roll your own failed charisma talent check. (This is a racial special, and cannot be taken as a character talent.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Flight - allows flight. (This can be taken as a character talent.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Light or Dark - You may use ANY light or dark magic proficiently for this turn. The way you use it is up to you, be creative but always remember to ask your staff members. (Special racial skill, cannot be used as a character talent.)

    Suggested Character Talents: Intimidation, flight, persuasion,

    Race Name: Demons

    Race Classification: Abyssal

    Pantheon or Origin: Religions, and humans

    Life Span: Unknown

    Alignment: Chaotic Bad to Neutral.

    Description/Forms: Demons come in many shapes and sizes. The most common look of a demon, however, is horns, tail, and wings. The look of the demon can often change depending on the type or where they come from.

    Demons can also take on a more humanoid form, or even look human with a few demonic attributes.

    Abilities, Magic, extra skill:

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Fires of Hell - Demons are used to the fires of hell. Take no damage from fire, or re-roll a fire spell. (This is a racial special, cannot be taken as a character talent.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Teleportation - Demons can teleport inside of places, or out of them. It is limited at the Staff member's discretion. (This is a special racial ability and cannot be taken as a character talent.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Silver Tongue - Demons are great at getting people to do their bidding. Demons get a free Charisma skill (your choice for the Event) or they can re-roll a charisma check of any kind. (This is a special racial skill, and cannot be taken as a character talent.)

    Lore:

    A demon is a supernatural and often malevolent being prevalent historically in religion, occultism, literature, fiction, mythology, and folklore; as well as in media such as comics, videogames, movies, and television series.

    The original Greek word daimon does not carry negative connotations. The Ancient Greek word Ī“Ī±ĪÆĪ¼Ļ‰Ī½ daimōn denotes a spirit or divine power, much like the Latin genius or numen. The Greek conception of a daimōn notably appears in the works of Plato, where it describes the divine inspiration of Socrates.

    In Ancient Near Eastern religions and the Abrahamic traditions, including ancient and medieval Christian demonology, a demon is considered a malicious spiritual entity which may cause demonic possession, calling for an exorcism. In Western occultism and Renaissance magic, which grew out of an amalgamation of Greco-Roman magic, Jewish Aggadah and Christian demonology, a demon is believed to be a spiritual entity that may be conjured and controlled.

    Demonic Lords (And Ladies)

    Demons under this title are NOT actual royalty; this title means that they are a higher up demon in hell, with either power or history that rose them up through the ranks and set them at the top. These demons love to spread evil, and chaos through the earthen realms.

    These demons can come in many different forms, but usually, they are all terrifying.

    Abilities, Magic, extra skill:

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Weapon Master - Fighting against the light has made these demons battle ready, meaning they are proficient with any weapon, or they can re-roll a failure. (This is a special racial skill and cannot be taken as a character talent.)


    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Demonic Strength - Demons of this level can have bursts of strength. Triggering this ability will allow you to proficiently use ANY strength check, or re-roll a failed one. (This is a special racial skill and cannot be taken as a character talent.)


    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Sense the Weak - Demonic Princes can feel the weak minds of the creatures around them which help them locate a target, or re-roll a perception check. (This is can be taken as a character talent ONLY if the character is a Demon Prince(ss).)

    Legion Generals:


    Legion demons are the embodiment of the seven deadly sins focused into seven different characters. They were created to spread the seven evils onto the world and lead the Legion demons into battle. However, now that hell has fallen to being run by a government and Satan no longer commands them, they have found themselves without a purpose. The Sins have decided to leave hell, and try their luck living in the mortal realm, doing odd jobs are their own mercenary group.

Each turn this is active you must roll to see if you continue to use your effect. (This can be taken as a character talent ONLY if the character is a Seven deadly sin.)


    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Demonic Mind - You may roll proficiently to resist against ANY charisma check that is put against your character OR re-roll a failed resistance check. (This is a racial special, and cannot be used as a character talent.)

    Incubus/Succubus

    A Succubus is a demon in female form, or supernatural entity in folklore (traced back to medieval legend), that appears in dreams and takes the form of a woman to seduce men, usually through sexual activity. The male counterpart is the Incubus. Religious traditions hold that repeated sexual activity with a Succubus or Incubus may result in the deterioration of health or mental state or even death as they drain your life force through these transactions.

    In modern representations, a Succubus may or may not appear in dreams and is often depicted as a highly attractive seductress or enchantress; whereas, in the past, Succubi were generally depicted as frightening and demonic.

    An Incubus is a demon in male form who, according to mythological and legendary traditions, lies upon sleeping women to engage in sexual activity with them. They may even impregnate women during these interactions, or if a Succubus becomes pregnant from a human, it may result in children called a Cambion.

    Salacious tales of Incubi and Succubi have been told for many centuries in traditional societies. In their demon forms, they tend to have bat wings, horns, a tail, and even sometimes hoofed feet. As any demons, however, their appearance is varied, however, their humanoid form is always attractive.

    These vampires were created from a curse, passed on through generations on their kind. Due to their unique situation, these vampires can walk in the light, although they are sensitive to it.

    Vampires created this way aren't undead, like their infected cousins, meaning they have a VERY small chance to produce offspring with the vampire's curse.

    No one remembers or knows precisely where the curse came from, and many have tried and failed to cure it, but just as the rule goes, vampires must drink the blood of others to stay alive. However, unlike most myths, the vampirism won't be passed on unless the person dies with the saliva still in their wound.

    Lycanthropes are humanoids which have been cursed with the mark of the wolf. They can shift their bodies at will to that of their wolf form to defend themselves, or they can tear you apart with their bare hands in human form.

    Lycans can both be born with the curse, and obtain it by being bit by one on the full moon, at which time the wolf inside takes over and runs free. During a full moon, a Lycanthrope must change forms while the moon is in the sky.

    Fae - The fae can be broken up into several different categories and by various factors.

    Where does your Fae Character fall?

    Courts:

    The Seelie Court: is the one people typically think when they think of fae. They are beautiful, good-natured, and pure manifestations of nature. They are artisans, elitists, and perfectionists that are highly political. They are usually a very closed off society that has a hard time accepting outsiders. They typically use natural tones and all things natural to decorate their homes and person. (i.e., using white birch for their thrones, gossamer through their hair and precious stones as jewelry.)

    Abilities, Magic, extra skill:

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Fae Healing - Those who follow this court are naturally gifted with the ability to heal. Cast a healing spell proficiently based on your level or re-roll a failed heal. (This can be taken as a character combat/magic talent.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Light magic - Use it to burn, blind, or distract your foes. However, you use it is up to you and your staff members. (This can be taken as a character combat/magic talent.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Skilled Artisan - You've had plenty of practice perfecting your craft, so you know how to fix a mistake quickly. Re-roll one failed roll in crafting or roll proficiently in a crafting skill. (This is a special racial skill and cannot be taken as a character talent.)



    The Unseelie Court: Welcomes any and all creatures with even a drop of ancestral fae blood in their veins. Since fae can literally mate with anything and just about everything, changing even gender, they can create some pretty weird creatures, and this is where they are welcomed. This Court is ruled by the Queen of Air and Darkness, a woman who welcomes dark gifts in return for her favor. The court is typically macabre with twisted columns, trees forced to grow in unnatural shapes, with blooms of nightshade and blood wart throughout the halls and gardens.

    Abilities, Magic, extra skill:

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Dark Magics - Anyway you want to use it. It's up to the user's imagination and the Staff members decisions. (This can be taken as a character combat/magic talent.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Sinister Gifts - These Fae are very good at making poisons and other health-damaging items. Re-roll to potion crafting fails or proficient in using poisons. (This can be taken as a character crafting talent, the re-roll doesn't work as a talent.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Shadow Step - Lurk in the shadows and use them to hide. In the shadows you are safe. You can also use this power to move your character into a shadow and out another. (This is a special racial skill and cannot be taken as a character talent.)

    The Winter Fae are typically malevolent, frown upon humans and are more likely to be cruel. They are generally sensible, chilled, dark, baleful and the epitome of the winter months. They Rule over the winter solstice.

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Ice and Water Magic - Use it the way you wish, but staff members can use discretion. Always speak to a staff member about ideas. (This can be used as a character combat/magic talent.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Winter's Bite - Summon thorns to grapple an enemy or block the way. (This is a special racial skill and cannot be taken as a character talent.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Decay and Rot - Something organic in your way? Why not just make it rot off? (This is a special racial skill and cannot be taken as a character talent.)

    The Spring Fae are the 'calmer' of the benevolent fae in comparison to the Summer Fae. They are generally polite, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed and more apt at luring humans in. They are curious creatures who are strongest during the Spring months. They can be peppy, seductive, emotional and obvious.

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Mimicry - These Faes enjoy copying the looks of objects, sounds, as well as smells. (This may be taken as a character combat/magic talent.)


    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Soothing Aura - They're so happy! And you should be too! Calm the minds of those around you. (This may be taken as a character combat/magic talent.)


    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Nature Magic - Plants and the earth obey the call of the spring Fae. Use it however you want at the staff's discretion. (This may be taken as a character combat/magic talent.)

    The Summer Fae are what people generally see in the benevolent side of the fae. They are usually well mannered and polite, much more hush-hush about the cruelty that they can and will inflict if necessary. They reign over the Summer Solstice and are typically called frivolous, venereal and hot-headed.

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Smoke and Fire - These Fae can control both fire and the smoke from it. Use this magic creatively, but with the staff's discretion. (This may be taken as a character combat/magic talent.)

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Illusion Magic - With the summer heat at their fingertips these Summer Fae can make you see mirages. (This may be taken as a character combat/magic talent.)


    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Summer is Calling - These Fae can mimic and summon sounds they've heard. From screaming children to the constant buzzing of insects. (This may be taken as a character combat/magic talent.)

    The Autumn Fae are the other half of the malevolent side of the Fae, but they are generally the ones doing the 'dirty work' and 'trooping', however, they can be much nicer than most of the other Fae and return great favors. They are generally considered to be strong, mystical, eerie, devious and ravishing no matter the circumstance.

    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Wind and Storms - These Fae can control the wind and storms they bring. Use this magic creatively, but with the staff's discretion. (This may be taken as a character combat/magic talent.)


    *Skill/Magic/Abilities: Dream and Sleep Magic - With the fall being the perfect time for naps in the cool autumn weather, you are able to lull people to sleep and influence their dream states. Use this magic creatively, but with the staff's discretion.
